Ground coffee is finely or coarsely ground coffee beans that are prepared for making various types of drinks such as espresso, Turkish coffee, filter coffee or French press. Ground coffee is ready for direct use in coffee machines, cezvestas or other brewing methods. It is usually stored in a tightly closed container to preserve freshness and aroma, as grinding increases the surface area and makes the coffee more susceptible to oxidation.
